Not all Masons are Shriners, but all Shriners are Masons
After 30 years of Dormancy, Charlie decided to demit and transfer his Masonic affiliation to the Great State of Texas. After affiliating the Jewel P. Lightfoot Lodge in downtown Dallas in 2014, he applied to the Hella Shrine Center for admission as a Noble of the Shrine.
On November 15, 2014, Charlie was made a Shriner.
One lesson a noble learns early on is that it is all about the Kids! Everyone in the Temple, that is all they talk about:
Hospital Visits - Taking Children to the hospitals - taking them by vans, too!
Raising Money for the Hospitals
Getting toys and clothes for the Kids
Holding many Shriner functions to raise money for the kids!
